To review and make Board recommendations for all capital improvement and renewal and replacement projects. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

FINANCE & INSURANCE COMMITTEE

Member: Timothy P. Becker

To review policies and procedures relating to finance functions and risk management. Review monthly financial reports, check register and insurance reports. Also develops guidelines for the preparation of the District's budget, service charges and connection fees. To make recommendations to the Board on District investments and banking relations. Oversees audit functions.

OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
Chair: Frank V. Sidari
Member: Howard W. Kerr

Oversees intra-agency coordination and employee recognition programs. Develops guidelines for legislative review and long-range planning. Makes recommendations related to District policies and procedures, and Board and Committee operations. Reviews District's Ordinances as needed.

PERSONNEL/SAFETY/PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE
Chair: Timothy P. Becker
Member: Frank V. Sidari

To make recommendations to Board on personnel rules, policies and procedures. Establishes District policy regarding programs for injury and illness prevention. Oversees the District's safety and training program. Ensures the development of a clear and concise District public information program.

SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE
Chair: Howard W. Kerr
Member: Laython N. Landis

Ensures compliance with California's AB939 and Alameda County's Measure D source reduction and recycling mandates. Monitors and recommends Board action regarding solid waste regulatory requirements and customer service issues.
