How do I recycle used motor oil?

Call Waste Management at 510-613-8710 and request that containers (they resemble milk jugs) be delivered to your home. Fill them and leave them beside your garbage can

How do I discontinue garbage service. I self-haul my own garbage; have someone else dispose of my garbage; or have no refuse produced/accumulated on my property?

Call the Oro Loma Sanitary District at 510-276-4700 and have the "Request for Exemption to Mandatory Refuse Collection Service" form mailed to you.

When you receive the form, fill it out promptly and return it to the District for consideration.

What if I am physically unable to place my garbage cart at the curb for pickup service?

Call Waste Management at 510-613-8710 to have the "Request for Exemption From Curbside Placement of Garbage Carts" form mailed to you.

When you receive the form, fill it out promptly and return it to Waste Management. (Address and fax number are both on the form.)
